1. Migration Completion Email

After successful transfer, an email with subject "VPN server migrated to new VPS — update client configurations" is sent to your WHMCS billing account email.

The email includes:

  • old and new server IP addresses;
  • server number in the panel;
  • number of migrated clients;
  • link to the management panel.

2. Verification in the Management Panel

  1. Log in to the panel via client area ("Server Management Panel").
  2. Open "Servers" — the server should have a new IP and Active status.
  3. Open "Clients" — all CLIENT IDs are in place, traffic statistics preserved.

3. Notifying End Clients

Important: do not send configuration files and QR codes directly. Provide clients with only their CLIENT ID and the address idconverter.com — the client will obtain current configs from the new server independently.

3.1. Client Message Template

Hello!\n\nOur VPN server has been migrated to a new platform. Your access key (CLIENT ID) has not changed:\nXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX\n\nPlease obtain your configuration again at https://idconverter.com\nOld VPN files no longer work.\n\nWe apologize for the temporary inconvenience.

4. Post-Notification Monitoring

  • verify that clients are connecting again;
  • for individual issues, check that the client uses CLIENT ID, not an old file;
  • for widespread problems — open a support ticket with the server number from the email.
