1. What Is Migration

Server migration is moving your VPN server from a failed VPS to a new one. The management panel keeps the same server number and CLIENT IDs, but the IP address changes and VPN configurations are recreated.

2. Process Stages

StageWhoWhat Happens
Failure detectionManager / monitoringClients cannot connect, server offline
Support requestManagerTicket with service number and description
New VPS preparationVPN VendorReplacement allocated and configured
Migration startVPN Vendor administratorBackground client transfer (usually several minutes)
Routing verificationSystemAuto-test: client → VPN → internet
Manager notificationVPN Vendor billingEmail "VPN server migrated to new VPS"
Client access updateManagerClients get new configs via idconverter.com

3. Timelines

Technical migration takes from a few minutes to half an hour depending on client count. Total downtime also depends on support response time and new VPS preparation.

4. If Migration Fails

On error, the system rolls back panel database changes to the pre-migration state. Managers receive notification only for successful migration. On failure, support will contact you and retry the transfer.
